I got my first chickens at ten years old. Today our family farm runs on six acres with 150 chickens, 50 homing pigeons, ducks, geese, turkeys and goats — and 20 years of breeding American Gamefowl behind it. Every box we sell gets used here first. If it doesn't hold up in my own loft, it doesn't go in the catalog.
